The Vectrex Mini is getting ready to launch on Kickstarter at the beginning of November 2025. The date is approaching steadily, which is why we want to start showing you more of what we have in store. Between the console, the accessories, and the merchandising, we hope you’ll enjoy what’s coming.
The console at the heart of the project
The highlight of the campaign will of course be the Vectrex Mini. You’ll be able to order it directly through Kickstarter for 149 euros, which is about 175 dollars. Shipping fees will depend on your location. For the quickest backers, special early bird prices will be available, starting at 99 euros. It’s our way of thanking the first supporters and giving the project strong momentum right from the start.
The Vectrex Mini carries the spirit of the original system while adding a few modern touches. As many of you already know, it features a 5-inch LCD screen, a Bluetooth controller, video output, and a USB-C port that works for both regular power supply and connection to an external battery. There’s also a microSD slot, though the card itself will likely not be included.
Every console will come with 12 built-in games and their overlays to recreate the authentic experience as faithfully as possible. Stickers will also be available so you can customize your console with different logos, including the Vectrex Mini logo as well as European, American, and Japanese versions.
Extra features we’ve imagined
Beyond the console itself, we added a feature that we think fits nicely with a mini version. The Vectrex Mini can also turn into a clock, displaying the time, date, weather, and even offering an alarm function. This way it can have a place on your desk or shelf even when you’re not playing.

The limited white edition
We know collectors are very fond of special editions, so we’ll be offering a white version of the Vectrex Mini. This limited edition will come with a certificate of authenticity and a unique serial number. It has all the same features as the standard model, but with a different design.

Accessories and exclusive content
The campaign won’t stop at the console:
- An extra controller will be available so you can enjoy multiplayer games. It will come with a dongle that also allows it to connect to an original Vectrex and play wirelessly over Bluetooth.
- We’re also preparing a book that tells the story of the Vectrex. This project is especially important to us, as it helps preserve and share the legacy of a console that means a lot to our community.
- Finally, 4 T-shirt designs will be part of the campaign, because it’s always nice to wear what you love.
See you in November
