Throughout November, we shared a lot on social media. The blog stayed quieter, as we wanted to fully experience the campaign before taking the time to write here. The Kickstarter campaign ended on December 3rd, so it’s now time to document it all!

November 2025, a Memorable Moment for the Vectrex Community
From the campaign launch on November 2nd, a unique energy surrounded the project. It was impossible not to feel it. Passion, nostalgia, and curiosity blended naturally. Some supporters have been collecting Vectrex consoles for decades, others discovered it long after its original release, and some were simply intrigued by the idea of seeing a vector console reborn in a mini version in 2025. 5,586 backers supported the project, raising over $1.3 million and unlocking all stretch goals, including the final one in the last minutes! A conclusion that will remain a memorable moment in the Vectrex Mini history.

After the Campaign, the Real Work Begins
The end of the campaign marks the start of a new phase. Two weeks after the campaign closed, the funds needed for the first launches are finally available… That doesn’t mean we waited to move forward, in fact, it’s quite the opposite.
The past weeks have been dedicated to important decisions regarding the first production elements, industrial organization, software adjustments and more… Every detail is being carefully reviewed to ensure the Vectrex Mini reflects the vision of the community. Our production partners, highly experienced, are working closely with us to make sure each step meets the highest standards.
For the first part of production, we’re starting with the controller, which gives us more time to finalize the console itself and ensure a solid foundation. We are also actively working on the built-in game lineup to make it as exciting as possible. Progress is steady, and more concrete updates will be shared very soon.
