News

Since the announcement of the Vectrex Mini and the presentation of our first prototypes at Gamescom, the feedback has been overwhelming. The shares on social media have truly moved us, as they show real enthusiasm for the project. We are closely following everything that is written or filmed about the console, and we wanted to share with you the articles, videos, and interviews that might interest you.

In the specialized press

Just days after the announcement, several major sites covered the Vectrex Mini. Among them, Time Extension, Aus Retro Gamer, Retro Dodo, and Games Radar+ published detailed articles. These outlets are known for their credibility and passion for retro gaming, which makes their interest even more valuable.

Internationally

The media coverage hasn’t been limited to English. French, German, Japanese, and even Finnish websites shared the news. This diversity shows that the Vectrex Mini reaches an audience far beyond our borders.

After Gamescom

Many people had the chance to discover the prototype at Gamescom. These first real-world trials resulted in detailed reports, often accompanied by direct impressions right after hands-on testing. This is particularly rewarding for us, since nothing beats trying it in person to truly understand what we’re aiming to recreate with the Vectrex Mini.

In interview

These past few days have also been rich in direct exchanges. We took part in several interviews where we were able to explain our approach and outline the next steps. One highlight is the podcast with Retro Dodo, in which David, project leader of the Vectrex Mini, talks about the upcoming Kickstarter and how the community will be able to get involved to support the project.

We also answered questions from Portable Gaming Roundup. This interview puts more of a spotlight on our team and motivations; a great complement to understand the people behind the project.

These months of August and September 2025 have been especially busy and exciting. Seeing the Vectrex Mini featured in so many outlets, across different formats and in multiple languages, is a wonderful reward for the entire team. Thank you to everyone who shares our updates and supports us. We’ll keep sharing each important step of this adventure with you.
