The Vectrex Will Be at Gamescom 2025

The Vectrex has never left the hearts of video game enthusiasts, and this year, it’s making an appearance at one of Europe’s major gaming events: Gamescom 2025. From August 20 to 24, in Cologne, Germany, our beloved console will have its own dedicated space in Hall 10.2, within the Retro Area. It’s the perfect opportunity to come meet us, rediscover this unique machine and take a look at what we’ve been working on.

A Special Gathering for Passionate Fans

Since 2009, Gamescom has turned Cologne into a true hub for video games. The event draws hundreds of thousands of visitors eager to discover new releases, reconnect with classics and spend time with other curious minds. Inside the halls of Koelnmesse (the exhibition park), you’ll find a wide range of industry players, from major studios to creative independents. You can try out unreleased games, attend presentations or simply share your passion with others.

A Cult Console in a Key Location

Among all the spaces, the Retro Area is the one we’re most excited about. It brings together iconic machines, dedicated creators and players of all generations. It’s an ideal setting to welcome the Vectrex, and that’s exactly where you’ll find our beloved console.

An Engaging Booth

Our booth will feature several Vectrex consoles, shown from every angle. You’ll be able to see them in action, appreciate their unique aesthetic and chat with passionate fans ready to share the story behind them. Whether you’re a longtime collector or just curious, it’s a great chance to get close to a Vectrex.

And without giving everything away, we’ve been working on new content around the Vectrex (Vectrex Mini mentioned!). Gamescom will be a great time to show part of it and hear your feedback. We believe this console still has plenty to offer and deserves to be passed on.
